The A girls basketball team, had an amazing season. They made it very far, in the season. At the championship game, they turned out to be runners up in their league.
The captains were Izzy Allen, Rylee Speed, Lexi Whitty, and Annarose Yvon. They always started the team with a cheer and got the team fired up for the game. Kenzie Rushlow, Novie Ivey, Kendall Hanson, and Faith Ashe were managers. They helped the team and coaches with the rebounds, shots, turnovers, and water bottles.
Although they didn’t win the play-offs this year, we are proud of how far we came. With our teamsmanship and bravery on and off court, we came as far as we did.
The eighth graders led our team to the play-offs, and were on fire this year. We are grateful for what they did, and they will be missed next year. We wish them luck in high school, and hope that they will help their team the same way they helped us.

The A team cheerleaders started off their season in November practicing hard and getting in shape in preparation for both of their competitions. They were experimenting with different people in different stunt groups to see what would work for competition. They made many changes throughout the whole season. Through the obstacles of many injuries, sicknesses and more, the A Cheerleaders came back to Corinth Friday night, on February 1st with a ten point win. With a score of 62.8, they beat their biggest competition, Mattanawcook.
They would like to thank Coach Hillary and Coach Rhonda Williams for the time and effort they put in to their cheerleaders, and an amazing season. They would also like to thank the janitors- JJ King, Karen King, Brian Doughty and Rick Boudreau, and secretaries- Emily Clement and Denise Poulin.
