For this edition of The Panther Press, the students voted to focus on our appreciation of the United States military. This page was open for any student to submit a tribute to someone of their choosing. We want to thank all of the United States military for all of their dedication and sacrifice!

Question 1. What do you need/require to be in the Air Force?

You must be a U.S. citizen or resident alien.

You must be at least 17 years old (17-year old applicants require parental consent) to apply and in BMT before your 28th birthday.

You must (with very few exceptions) have a high school diploma or meet the ASVAB qualifications to apply with a GED.

You must pass a physical medical exam.

Must meet specific scoring requirements on the ASVAB

Question 2. What is your favorite part about being in the Air Force?

Serving my country and traveling around the world

Question 3. What places have you been to? What was your favorite trip?

I have traveled all around the United States. I have been to these countries:

Curaçao

Germany

France

Spain

Turkey

Crete

Greece

Norway

England (United Kingdom)

Qatar

Afghanistan

Sicily

Belgium

Luxembourg

Guam

Netherlands (Holland)

My favorite country that I visited was Greece. I had a chance to sit at the Parthenon in Athens Greece and enjoy the local culture. The whole city is amazing.
