F.O.R. CLUB
F.O.R. Club (Friends of Rachel) is a group dedicated to spreading kindness and improving the social climate of our school to make it a better place. They encourage their members to display acceptance and inclusion of everyone. Middle School is socially one of the toughest times in a kid's life. They want to help students develop the skills to navigate this time and encourage them to help others to have a good middle school experience as well. They also perform many service projects throughout the year.
Some of their service projects from the past include: making and delivering May Baskets to a local senior citizen housing complex, donating to Manna's turkey drive, collecting blankets and sheets for the Bangor Humane Society, raising money to be donated to community members who have lost their homes to fire, sending get well cards and a gift to local children involved in accidents and hospitalized, handing out kindness notes and candy to students as they enter school, putting kindness sticky notes on lockers, writing thank you letters to staff and community members, giving a gift card to staff member who displays the virtues that F.O.R. club stands for, such as kindness and empathy, and recognizing them in an assembly quarterly.

The Newspaper Club gives students the opportunity to have a voice and a platform in their school. Every student has the opportunity to contribute to the school newspaper even if you are not on the Newspaper Club.
