DIRIGO ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Dirigo Athletics Department is to guide student-athletes to develop skills, gain knowledge and aspire to make lifelong productive choices in the classroom, with their respective athletic teams and beyond. A comprehensive athletic program will be provided emphasizing the development of lifelong learning, values and skills through hard work, sportsmanship, ethical conduct and fair play. Student-athletes will be creative and practical problem solvers who are integrative, informed, responsible and involved citizens. The program is based on open communication and mutual respect among student-athletes, parents/guardians, peers, staff members, coaches, administration, officials and within the community.
