Our Library

The Ola B. Brownrigg Library is dedicated to a former teacher at Old Orchard Beach High School. Ola, was a English teacher and  class advisor who taught and inspired OOB students for 12 years. Ola attended many extra student activities. She inspired her students to believe in themselves and their ability to learn. Unfortunately, she lost her battle with cancer in 1995.  Ola was a beacon for all and in memory of her, the high school library was dedicated and renamed in her honor.

About Me

I am artist, educator, and librarian. I have taught at the elementary, middle school, and collegiate levels since 2013. I graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in Illustration and from Maine College of Art with an MFA. I have worked as a freelance illustrator and designer since 2003. I have also participated in group and solo art shows across the country.

In 2018 I made the shift to libraries, enrolling in the University of Maryland for my MLIS. Since then I have worked in the Gray New Gloucester and Scarborough School districts as well as in the Lewiston and Cumberland public libraries.
