RSU #20 is pleased to announce we now offer a free family engagement tool for all families of RSU #20 students from Pre-K through grade 12. ParentPowered is a free, research-based text messaging program for families. ParentPowered will help build daily routines and continue your child’s learning at home. ParentPowered texts match your child’s age. Each text message supports healthy child development with fun facts, activities, and simple tips to help your child to learn while at home.

Each week, ParentPowered will send out three short text messages. Each message will give easy ways to connect with your child and support their individual learning needs. Also each week, ParentPowered will text one to two messages with information on community resources to support you and your family.

Every message is aligned to your individual child's age and grade level, and tips are built around everyday routines. No supplies are needed.  This service is free, but data and message rates may apply. 

With the initial rollout on November 17, 2025, you will receive a welcome text message.   You may stop receiving texts at any time by texting STOP to 70138.  To stop receiving texts about community resources, text STOP to 28922.  If you have additional questions or need help with the ParentPowered program, text HELP to 70138 or email the ParentPowered team at support@parentpowered.com.
