A REMINDER: YOU MATTER

Members of the Kindness Club distributed these posters around the middle school in an effort to simply remind each student . . . You matter. You are loved. You can make a difference.

The poster on the right included reminders that students could tear off of the bottom and keep with them as support and encouragement. By the end of the week, many of the posters had all affirmations torn off.

Affirmations have the ability to strengthen us. Help share the Kindness Club's message by reminding others that they matter and, equally important, reminding yourself that YOU MATTER.

It is always a good time to show that we care about one another.

VALENTINE'S DAY CARD TABLE:

The Kindness Club encouraged students to use Valentine's Day as an opportunity to show appreciation and/or care for a friend, a teacher, a loved one, etcetera.

Members of the Kindness Club believe that Valentine's Day is a chance to demonstrate gratitude, to be thoughtful, and to share smiles . . . but this should not be limited to one day per year - every day can be Valentine's Day!

BATH MIDDLE SCHOOL SPIRIT WEEK:

Spirit Week AM Annoucements.pdf

The Kindness Club partnered with the school's Student Council to develop daily themes that coincide to the Council's daily activities. Correspondingly, members of the Kindness Club read an announcement each day to the entire student body. These announcements inspired all students to think and act in ways that demonstrate: (1) COMPASSION, (2) EMPATHY, (3) ACCEPTANCE, (4) COLLABORATION, and (5) PRIDE.

Take a moment to read the messages that Kindness Club members want their peers to be aware of and embrace!
