Chromebook Responsibility and Tips
You now have a Rockwood Chromebook in your care. The information on this site will assist in using your Chromebook to best support your learning and growth. Click on the additional pages in the navigation to utilize this resource.
At school, administrators and teachers will provide expectations for Chromebook use. At home, your parents will establish and enforce expectations for use.
Your login is the first initial of your first name last name last three digits of your student number @rsdmo.org. Ex - jsmith284@rsdmo.org

If you are new to Rockwood, your password will be Rsd followed by your date of birth (mmddyyyy). Ex - Rsd03282004
After logging in the first time, go to Classlink to change your password.
Connecting to a Home Network
Plug in Chromebook to ensure it has enough charge to connect. Chromebooks, when fully charged, will last for 5 to 7 hours depending on use.
1. Open and turn on Chromebook
2. Connect to your home WiFi
3. Click the status bar (gray box in the bottom right corner)
4. Click on the wireless network icon (upper left under power button)
A list of available networks will appear.
5. Click on your WiFi network
6. Student logs into Chromebook
7. Student enters their Rockwood Google account, for example, dketring123@rsdmo.org
8. Password will be the same password they use at school
