• Another excellent question! There are more than 20 roles in Marci in Rhapsody. There are two elderly narrators who speak throughout the story. There is the Mayor and her advisors, Arnold Hipple and his two friends, mean girls Muffie, Maggie & Millie (not all mean!), There are the owners of the diner and the barber shop/salon and several others.   Rhapsody is the town where musical are made. Every child in Rhapsody is born with a song inside them. One their 16th birthday, they sing their sond for the town. As the play begins, it's the 16th birthday of Mayor Jangles's daughter, Marci.
