Literacy:

In this unit we will learn about Early Asian Civilizations. Students will learn about the advent of farming, establishment of cities and government as well as other practices such as writing and religion. The learning of this content will allow us to foster an understanding of and respect of other cultures and religions.

Throughout the year we will continuously work on foundational reading skills, decoding strategies, spelling patterns as well as reading comprehension and writing conventions.
