THESE ITEMS WILL BE BROUGHT BACK AND FORTH TO SCHOOL AND HOME EACH DAY:

  • Chromebook (please make sure that it is fully charged)

  • Warm jacket (it's getting cold!)

  • Clean face mask

  • Reusable spill-proof water bottle (to be taken home and cleaned each day, then refilled from home with WATER ONLY)

  • Students may bring their own lunch to school

  • Individually wrapped snack (they may eat a snack outside during recess or another outdoor break during the day)

THESE ITEMS WILL STAY IN THE CLASSROOM:

  • Math and Science workbooks (bring back from home)

  • 1 spiral-bound notebook

  • 2 plastic pocket folders with three prongs

  • 1 package of no.2 pencils, sharpened

  • 1 package of colored pencils, sharpened

  • 2 dry-erase markers

  • 1 pencil box or case (large enough to hold pencils, colored pencils, and dry erase markers)

You may send your child with some of the school supplies that will stay in the classroom one day and the rest the other day to make it more manageable for them to carry on their own. Parents will not be permitted to accompany students.

Other items that we will need for the classroom (bring in as convenient):

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Clorox Wipes

  • Paper Towels

During Hybrid learning, school will look very different from what they have known in the past. Group A students will be attending school on Mondays and Tuesdays. Group B Students will attend Thursdays and Fridays. Students will do independent work on the other three days from home. A Week at Glance will be posted for each group in Google Classroom and linked to this website (above) every week on Friday evenings.

When students are at school they will be required to wear masks at all times with the exception of when they are eating or drinking. We will be practicing social distancing inside and outside of the classroom.

If you have any questions, please reach out to me and I will do my best to answer them!

GOOGLE CLASSROOM

HOW TO ACCESS GOOGLE CLASSROOMS

Students will access Google Classrooms on their Chromebooks daily in class. They have a Google account through school that they can use to access Google Classrooms from home. The following are step-by-step instructions for accessing Google Classrooms at home:

Go to Google.com

Click on the accounts icon on the top right corner of screen

If student has not already added their account, then click on "add account."

Students can then use their username and password (they should have this memorized) for their school account to add their Google account to a computer or other device at home.

Once student is logged on to Google, then they can go to the "rubics cube" at the top of the screen and select Google Classrooms (click on the icon as seen to the left).
