Did You Know?
Students should miss no more than 9 days of school each year to stay engaged, successful and on track to graduation.
By 6th grade, chronic absence becomes a leading indicator that a student will drop out of high school.
Missing just two days a month for the entire school year is known as chronic absenteeism.
