Welcome and thank you for your interest in Rio Rancho Public Schools Athletics! Rio Rancho Public Schools value the important role that athletics plays in contributing to the overall high school experience. RRPS is pleased to announce the launch of our brand new Athletic Physical Packet submission site. Physical packets will now be submitted by visiting the Athletics Document Upload link below and should no longer be emailed in.
Please be aware that you must have ALL required documents in order to submit this form and be sent to the clearance queue at your respective school. Once received, your school's athletic department will review them for accuracy. Provided all documents are complete, your student will be cleared and you will be notified via the email address you’ve provided during submission. If cleared, your student will be placed on the 22/23 Athletic Clearance list at his or her respective school and you will need to do nothing further for the 22/23 school year. If your documents are not complete or there is a question regarding the submitted documents, you will receive an email via the email address you’ve provided during submission stating the issue or question.
Before a student is allowed to participate in any RRPS Summer or In-Season Athletics, each student will need to have all paperwork turned in to the appropriate schools athletic office, and be cleared for participation by yours schools Athletic Coordinator. Please read through the requirements below carefully as some requirements as well as the method of submission has changed.

NMAA Physical Packet Physical Exam must be conducted and the form must be dated on or after April 1, 2023, to be valid for participation in the summer of 2023 and the 2023/24 SY.
NFHS Student Concussion Course sign up for an account, add the student concussion course to your basket (course is free) and complete the course. Please be sure when creating the account that it is in the students name so the certificate will be generated with the correct name. Also, be sure that the course is the CONCUSSION FOR STUDENTS COURSE. Any other course will not meet the state law requirement. At the end of the course, you will be issued a certificate of completion. This certificate will need to be downloaded and submitted via the portal along in with your other documents. Must be dated on or after April 1, 2023.

Once you have all your documents ready to upload click HERE to access the portal to upload all your documents.
Please only submit once.
You do not need to submit a packet for each sport.
Your packet will initially be routed to Athletic Office for review. In an event your packet is received incomplete, you will receive an email stating such and you will be required to resubmit all documents to be reviewed again.
If your packet is submitted and is correct, you will receive an email stating your athlete is cleared.
