 Welcome to Goldwood Primary School!

English Learners at Goldwood

At Goldwood, we have students from all across the globe, speaking several different languages. Our top two most common languages are Arabic and Albanian, but other languages spoken by students include: Chinese, Japanese, Farsi, Lithuanian, Spanish, Portugese, Romanian among others. Our learners receive services in small group settings outside the general classroom, as well as academic support within the classroom.

About me

My name is Angela Wetula, and this is my 9th year teaching English Learners (ELs) at Goldwood. I have a Bachelor's Degree from Baldwin-Wallace College in Early Childhood Education, and a Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the American College of Educaton. In addition to my PK-3 teaching license, I hold  endorsements in Reading K-12, 4/5 Generalist, and TESOL K-12. I am also a licensed Level 1 Wilson Reading Dyslexia Practitioner. It is my hope that this site will provide you with resources to enrich your child(ren)'s English language experiences at home, and also provide you with additional district and community resources.
