Hello everyone! I miss you so much! I've brought home some books to read, and I hope you have books at home too. If you have your library books at home with you, keep reading them. Write some questions that go with the book you've been reading. Trade books with your brother or sister, try a new genre you haven't read before. Find a new place in your house to read. Try sitting near a window. Try sitting on your bed. Try making a pillow/blanket fort and reading inside.
I'd also like you to have my email address in case you'd like to send me a message. I'm lonely, and reading everyday, like I hope you are. If you've run out of books and are looking for new ideas, please send me a message. If you are bored and have a story to share with me, please send me a message. If you have a funny joke to share with me, please send me a message. roganok@rps205.com
Here is a link with some activities that you can do while you are at home. If you'd like to do extra grade levels, go for it!
Did you know? I received an email yesterday that one of our sixth grade students has read 12 books already this year! Great job - please let me know if you've reached a reading milestone, or if you need any new recommendations.
Read aloud area... Coming soon
I'm hoping to finish the books we've been reading all year. Find your class, and finish listening to our story. I've tried to type a little reminder of what was happening when we left for Spring Break. Enjoy!
