Mrs. Edleman
"I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in truth." -John1:4
Hi, my name is Mrs. Edleman and I am going to be your teacher this year. This is my second year teaching at Royal Redeemer Lutheran School. I taught preschool for four years previously. I love teaching and I especially love teaching early childhood education. We have the most fun exploring, learning, growing and simply having fun in our classroom.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Anthropology. Although I did not fulfill my dream of working in Borneo with the Orangutans, or digging up ancient civilizations, my fascination of how humans grow, develop, and learn, has remained my passion.
I began my teaching journey as a Sunday school teacher volunteer. Adding the spiritual component to early learners is such a joy. Children hold such a sense of wonder in the world they live and grow in. Adding God's abundant love, grace, and blessings, help to guide me as we grow together throughout the school year and beyond.
I absolutely love animals! I have two cats named Shadow and Piano (black and white) and two dogs. Sam, our little terrier is a recue and Jasper our Australian Shepard is our newest addition. I live with my husband of 25 years and our two teenagers. I enjoy being a mom most of all. It is the absolute joy of my life.
I cannot wait to meet all of you and get started on a fantastic school year!
Mrs. Saunders
Mrs. Saunders has been teaching at Royal Redeemer for three years. Prior to that she worked as an elder caregiver, and has worked in workers’ compensation. She has a bachelor's degree in Communications and Political Science.
Mrs. Saunders has six children, all boys, ages 11 – 22. All of her children started their schooling at Royal Redeemer, and she has two children still here.
In her spare time, Mrs. Saunders enjoys time outdoors. She like to boat, ski, play tennis and hike. She also loves to read. She can’t wait to meet your child and help them learn this year!
Miss Zifchak
Hello to all of our Intro to Learning families! I’m so excited to meet all of your wonderful children this year! This will be my third year at Royal Redeemer, but I have been working with toddler and preschool aged children for 18 years now! I have a big heart for children in early childhood and love being able to be a part of such a crucial time in a child's development. I love seeing the smile on a child's face when they learn new things! In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, and outreach opportunities in the community, and anything outdoors! Looking forward to another great year of growth, learning, and fun.
