1. PLATFORM ROLE

Own It is a digital marketplace platform that connects buyers, sellers, and businesses. We facilitate

listings, payments, and transactions but do not own listed items and do not guarantee quality,

authenticity, or legality.

All payments are processed through a third-party payment provider. Own It does not directly hold

user funds and is not a financial institution.

Own It is not a party to transactions between users and is not responsible for resolving disputes

beyond its internal review process.

2. USER ACCOUNTS

Users must provide accurate information, be 18+, and are responsible for their account activity. We

may suspend or terminate accounts at any time.

Own It reserves the right to investigate, suspend, or terminate accounts where fraud, misuse, or

suspicious activity is suspected.

3. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Users may not sell counterfeit, illegal, or misrepresented goods. Sellers are fully responsible for

authenticity.

4. CONTENT & IMAGES

Users must own or have consent to upload images. Unauthorized or copyrighted content may be

Removed.

Users grant Own It a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute uploaded

content for platform operation and marketing purposes.

5. FEES & PAYMENTS

A buyer service fee (~10%) may be included in prices. Fees are non-refundable unless required by

Law.

Users acknowledge that initiating chargebacks or payment disputes outside the platform

may result in account suspension and recovery actions

6. ESCROW

Payments are held until the buyer confirms receipt or delivery period passes. We may withhold funds

during disputes.

If no dispute is raised within 72 hours of confirmed delivery, funds will be automatically released to

the seller. Own It reserves the right to delay or withhold payments where fraud, disputes, or

suspicious activity is identified.

7. SHIPPING

Handled by third-party providers (e.g., Aramex). We are not responsible for courier issues.

8. RETURNS

Allowed only for damaged or misrepresented items. We may investigate and decide outcomes.

Items are sold ‘as described’ by the seller. Own It does not guarantee condition beyond the

seller’s description.
9. BUSINESS ACCOUNTS

Businesses must provide accurate details and are responsible for their products/services.

10. LIABILITY

Own It is not liable for user transactions, product issues, or third-party services.
11. INDEMNITY

Users agree to hold Own It harmless from claims arising from misuse or violations.

The platform is provided ‘as is’ without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Own It shall not be

liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control

12. TERMINATION

We may suspend or ban users and remove listings at any time.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by UAE law.

14. CHANGES

We may update Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.
