Virtual Reality Career Exploration of STEM Technologist Fields
STEM VRCE is a National Science Foundation grant project conducted by researchers from Rowan University (Glassboro, NJ). Broadening Participation in STEM Through Virtual Reality Career Exploration: Introducing Underrepresented Students to High Need STEM Careers seeks to improve the process by which high school students, specifically those in minority and rural populations, are exposed to STEM-related careers through virtual reality presentation. Through the use of immersive media, students will see first-hand a glimpse of in-demand career paths and opportunities that might have previously been overlooked or seemed unattainable.
