ABOUT WARRIOR PRIDE

Warrior Pride is an exciting dance performance team that includes Westwood students in grades 9-12. Warrior Pride is designed specifically for those who want to experience dance team participation with a minimal outside time commitment and cost, and dances at the intermediate level.

A year on Warrior Pride will include:

Four team performances each semester

Rehearsals primarily held during the school day

Valuable technique-building classes in a single-block 

Fun social events and activities

Two fundraisers

Auditions held once a year

The purpose of the Warrior Pride performance team is to provide a positive high school experience through dance. Warrior Pride will encourage loyal school spirit, high academic standards, and high moral values among its members. As a team we will work on the development of dance technique, self confidence, self-discipline, and sportsmanship in each member. Warrior Pride is the perfect choice for Westwood students who want to balance their passion for dance with time for other academic or extracurricular activities.
