UIL Social Studies

Our Social Studies UIL practices will begin after Thanksgiving. Please sign up by clicking the form to the right.

You must attend 6 meetings in order to compete in the UIL event in February. Meeting times are uploaded in the calendar below.

The UIL contest covers 60% Texas history, 30% United States history, and 10% World history. All students who have an interest in history, government, economics, and world cultures are encouraged to join! For a one hour commitment once a week, you will be recognized as a UIL Scholar!

UIL (University Interscholastic League) is an academic competition in which schools from around Texas select student representatives to demonstrate their knowledge and comprehension of a given academic subject.
