Spicewood's annual STEAM Day is sponsored by the PTA to expose students to science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics with hands-on experiences and activities. Classes will participate in different activities throughout the day -- an art activity related to the science of fingerprints, a demonstration from Mad Science, engineering design challenges in their classrooms, robotic play using computational thinking / early computer science skills, and inquiry stations with different hands-on activities to explore STEAM similar to a children's museum. We need help monitoring stations and activities. Please come for an hour or all-day! *Many tech companies encourage employees to use company time to volunteer in the community. We'd love for you to use your volunteer time for this day if you can!
