Welcome to Intersection!
Thank you for attending our annual INTERSECTION, a production of the dance departments in Round Rock Independent School District that allows dance students and teachers within vertical learning communities to come together/intersect as we move in a similar direction through our dance curriculum.
We hope you will enjoy the performances of these young dance students and applaud their efforts. Round Rock ISD Dance is accepting donations for Intersection.
All proceeds will be divided among the schools participating. You can make a cash donation at the door, or an electronic donation at THIS LINK. Thank you for supporting the Round Rock ISD dance programs!

Audience Etiquette
Our students and faculty have worked together for countless hours in the preparation of today’s performance, and we are proud to perform for you in this beautiful facility! The purpose of this program is to provide quality enrichment, learning experiences, and the highest level of entertainment for the students and patrons. In order to achieve this goal, we seek to train our young people in the various aspects of concert etiquette.
A theatrical or concert experience is a sharing between the performer and the audience. The performers are giving their time and energy to provide an entertaining and educational experience to the audience. In return, the audience should give its full attention to the performers. In order to do this, the following will apply:
Nobody moves from his/her seat or up and down the aisles once the performance begins. Any latecomers must wait until a selection, event, or act is finished before taking a seat.
During the actual performance, remain silent, except in those rare moments of planned audience participation. Avoid any excess movement or extraneous noise.
Please avoid calling attention to yourself as an audience member by yelling at a performer, cheering him/her on, etc. In turn, be sure that your performers on stage do not wave at or acknowledge audience members. Let’s keep the dignity of the hall and the event!
All applause is simply clapping, but if you particularly enjoy a piece of music or act, it can be vigorous. Verbal or whistle sounds are never appropriate. If you especially appreciate a soloist, final number, or during curtain call, it is fine to do a standing ovation.
The use of photography and videography is strictly prohibited. Also, don’t forget to turn off those cell phones!
No food or drink allowed inside the theater. Also, please keep your feet off of the seats. We want to keep the theater a beautiful performance space.

How you can help:
Community members are invited by the Round Rock ISD Council of the Arts to give back to our fine arts programs across the district either through volunteerism or monetary gifts.
Volunteering: Volunteer opportunities are posted periodically for projects at the district, campus or community levels at finearts.roundrockisd.org/community.
Donations: Monetary donations to enrich, provide and support student fine arts learning are always welcome. Through our Fine Arts Fund, community members can sponsor a student in need with private instrument or vocal lessons, visual arts supplies they might be able to afford or dress a dancer in our elementary, middle or high school dance programs. To give a monetary gift, please check out the project list with costs and make your donation through the RRISD Partners in Education Foundation Fine Arts Fund at finearts.roundrockisd.org/community. Be sure to specify your campus and specific program/project in the “Other” to be used towards - field.
