About the Teacher

Hello! My name is Nicole White. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor Degree in Marketing. I worked in the business and sales world for a little while before deciding that I needed to get into teaching. I am new to the Round Rock Family this year. My husband and I moved here this summer after he retired from active duty in the Navy. I was teaching in the Dallas area last year and before that we were in Illinois. Texas has always been home for me though, even if the Austin area is new. I love helping students learn new things and realize that they can accomplish goals that they did not think possible.

Background on me:

I grew up in the Dallas area. Growing up, I played soccer and danced. In high school I was active in Theater and Journalism. In college, I participated in my sorority (Tri-Delta), inter-mural sports (where I sprained my ankle), and several professional organizations. I met my husband my senior year and we were married in April of 2013. We immediately moved away from our beloved Texas to Virginia. After that we were sent to Illinois and this Texas girl got her first taste of snow. I didn't like it much! I moved back home to pursue teaching, while my husband finished out his last year of active duty. We currently have no children, but a pet corn snake named Stewart. I enjoy cooking, crafting, camping, kayaking, knitting and playing games. I LOVE the color pink, everything that can be pink will be.

This year I will be teaching Pre-Calculus and Pre-AP Algebra II.

I enjoy working with the parents of my students. You can reach me via phone at:

Note the "2" in the e-mail. There is another teacher out there with my same name.

Please do not e-mail her, she does not know your student.

Let me know what I can do to help your student succeed this year!
