Hi Wildcat parents!

My name is Elaine Ponder. I am starting my 16th year as a speech language pathologist, and my 2nd at BPE.  My own children have attended BPE since 2018. This campus is home to me and I am incredibly privileged to be part of the best staff in RRISD!

I graduated from Texas A&M with my teaching certification, and then went on to pursue speech-language pathology at Baylor.  Even though the degree I use is from Baylor, my heart bleeds maroon.  Gig 'em!  I have previously worked as an SLP in local pediatric clinics, a hospital, and a variety of schools in Round Rock and Georgetown.  My passion has always been working in a school environment and I love spending time with your kids at BPE!

Outside of school, I’m married to a fellow Aggie and we have two daughters.  (One at BPE and one at Ridgeview). We also have a dog, Callie. Outside of school, I love reading, baking, working out, traveling, and adventuring with my family.
