This is my 20th year teaching in Round Rock ISD and my 17th year at Cedar Valley. I grew up in Illinois and attended Iowa State University for my bachelor's degree. After moving to Texas, I decided to return to school to get my teaching degree at Texas State University. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 25 years. We have one adult son. My hobbies include reading mystery novels, watching sports, and riding bicycles with my husband. I also enjoy watching movies and traveling with my family.

I love working with middle school students and am proud to teach at Cedar Valley Middle School!!! Go Jags!!!
