Dear Parents & Students,
Welcome to 6th grade Science at Liberty Hill MS. I am so excited to be your Science teacher this year!
Supplies for this year are on the LHMS website linked here for all classes. For Science, one of the 100 sheet composition books and a folder will be needed every day. The pencil bag with all those supplies inside will be used for all classes. Please label ALL supplies with your child's first and last name.
Here are some helpful hints for your Science lab book:
* Please have a 100 sheet/200 page composition book, not a 70 page book
* Don't bend the book backwards, you can break the stitching that holds it together
* Don't skip pages, we will use almost every page in the book
* Don't tear or cut out any pages
* Don't number the pages ahead, we re-number back at page 1 with each new unit
* Do duct tape the binding so it lasts all year long (keep it until 8th grade to use for a study tool for 8th grade Science STAAR test)
