Welcome to 6th Grade World Cultures at Deerpark Middle School. This year, we will be learning about geography, cultures, economics and political beliefs from around the world. The hope for my students is learn plenty of needed information while enjoying the activities, projects and assignments in the 8 countries we study.

This is my 11th year to teach at DMS, and my 26th year to teach in Round Rock ISD. For the first 7 years at DMS, I taught 6th Grade On-level Math and Accelerated Math.

I grew up in a small agricultural town, south of Houston, but moved to the Austin area in 1992. I presently live in Cedar Park. I have a boxer-lab mix, whose name is Lazy Boy.
