A little about Mrs. Lanfear:

I have been teaching for 16 years, and have been at Cedar Ridge since the school opened in 2010. Before that, I taught at Stony Point Ninth Grade Center, so my entire teaching career has been in RRISD! I am also a product of this district- my mother was a teacher at Berkman Elementary, where I went to school. I then attended Chisholm Trail Middle School, and graduated from Round Rock High School.  I have a BA in Education from St. Edward's University, and a teaching certificate in English/Language Arts/ Reading grades 8-12. I have taught everything from struggling readers to AP, freshmen to seniors. 

I have been married to my husband for fourteen years, and we have two children, ages ten and six. When I'm not teaching, you can find me chasing after those two little ones, running the trails of the park by my house, or curled up with a good book.
