About Me: I was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia and raised in Thornville, Ohio. I graduated from Ohio University (Go Bobcats!!!), where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education. I am currently attending the University of Texas at Tyler for a Graduate Degree. This will be my 12th year teaching (3 years 8th Grade Language Arts, 1 year 5th Grade Language Arts and History, 1 year 7th Grade Texas History, 6 years 6th Grade World History) in total, and my fifth year at Ridgeview Middle School.

I have a wonderful wife who I have been married to for over 8 years. We have a son, Cormac, who will turn 3 at the end of September and a daughter, Clara, who turns 1 in November. I enjoy traveling, watching/attending/participating in most any kinds of sports and reading good books. I look forward to sharing my love for the interesting/unique places of the world with my students and creating an enjoyment of Social Studies within them.

Tutorial Times: Tutorials will be during lunch on Mondays and Thursdays.
