INFORMATION:
Please help us keep everyone healthy by keeping students who are feeling under the weather at home for at least 24 hours.
Students should bring a snack and a reusable water bottle to school everyday.
Students should bring their charged Chromebook, charger, and earbuds to school every day. Charger replacement will be $15.00.
Phones/smart watches are not allowed to be used at ANY time during school. If students are seen using their phones/smart watches without permission, the device will be taken to Mr. Frazer's office for a parent to pick up. Thank you for your help with this!

We are wrapping up our reading and writing informational texts! We will start fiction soon with a focus on characterization and developing characters and plots!
The GENRE CHALLENGE!
Our 5th graders have accepted the challenge of reading at least 2 books from 9 different genres this year, and are well on their way to achieving the goal of increasing reading fluency and enjoyment!

Science
We are the Earth, Sun, and Moon.
Social Studies
We focus on American History in 5th grade! We have been studying the events leading up to the American Revolution.
We will have our test the week after Thanksgiving break.
Module 4-Fractions: Multiplication and Division. We will be using algorithms and word problems throughout the module.
PRACTICE MULTIPLICATION FACTS with your student. Students can use flashcards or Reflex (once we get the students set up).
