Kristen Fournier has been the librarian at Forest North Elementary in RRISD since 2009. She holds a master's degree in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She served on the American Library Association's 2011 Theodor Suess Geisel Award Selection Committee, the Texas Library Association's Texas Bluebonnet Award Selection Committee 2012-2015, and the Little Maverick Graphic Novel Reading List 2019-2022. She was honored to serve as Forest North's Teacher of the Year in 2013, receive the Siddie Jo Johnson Award for outstanding achievement in children's library service in 2021, and to be a part of the 2023 TALL Texans Library Leaders Institute. She is passionate about connecting with her students, matching them to books they'll love, and building a reading culture at Forest North.

Elizabeth Vetter has been saving the day as library assistant at Forest North since 2013. She has a special knack for finding and remembering things, especially tiny details! She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Before Forest North, she worked as a Legal Assistant for many years, and did lots of volunteer work for her children’s schools, Scouting and sports activities. She is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin!
