Read Five, Then Decide!
The Texas Bluebonnet Award Program is available to all 3rd-6th grade students in the state of Texas and was designed to promote reading for fun among this age group.
The Bluebonnet list is compiled by librarians across the state of Texas and is sponsored by the Texas Library Association.
Several genres are represented in the list; graphic novels, historical fiction, poetry, nonfiction, etc.
Students in grades 3rd-5th who read at least 5 books will get to vote in the statewide election in January! The winning author receives the Texas Bluebonnet Award.
Keep up with the books you've read with this year's signature page coming soon.
