About Ms. Carter
Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Kim Carter and I am so excited about another year at “The Ranch”. This will be my twenty-sixth year of teaching, with experience in 4th, 5th , 6th, as well as TAG/enrichment math K-5. The more years I get under my belt, the more I find that I enjoy the families as much as the teaching, so I look forward to getting to know you and yours.
I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus. Beware… the spirit of Buckeye Nation lives in our classroom! No U of M shirts allowed! My mom and my younger brother live in the Austin area and we love to get together on the weekends for brunch. My dad passed away 6 years ago after a long battle with cancer but his love of learning lives on through me :-)
I hope you had a wonderful summer and are as excited as I am about the year ahead of us! It is our goal at Cactus Ranch to have families that are happy with the job we do.
