Your child will choose from a great selection of new, popular titles available in the library for their Birthday Book. We will place a special bookplate inside with your child’s name and birthday and mount a picture of your child with their selection on the display wall outside the library. The book will become a part of our library collection for all students to check out & read!

The cost to participate is $20 and the program is completely optional!

Here’s how it works:

- Using either the paper copy sent home or printing out the form found below, complete the Birthday Book Club form and return it to the library at least 3 weeks before your child's birthday. The Brushy Creek Elementary Birthday Book Club will end on APRIL 24th, 2026 for this school year.
- During the month of your child’s birthday, we will ask your child to select a book and take their photograph to be on the wall outside of the library.
Summer birthdays will be acknowledged as follows: May birthdays will be celebrated in April to allow students time to check out and enjoy their birthday book, June and July Birthdays will be celebrated at their "half-birthday" in December/January, and August birthdays will be celebrated at the end of August/beginning of September once the school year has kicked off.
