About Ms. Bittick

Graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, minored in Psychology.

Currently working towards a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from Texas A&M Commerce!

Ms. Bittick got married in the mountains of Washington State near Mt. Rainier in March!

Ms. Bittick's name will eventually change to Mrs. Sieber (pronounced See-burr), but don't worry you can keep calling her "Ms. B" to keep it simple for now :)

Ms. Bittick has two fur babies, Chancho the mini Aussie (left) and Ladybird the chiweenie (right). They're the best!

We also have two leopard geckos and three bearded dragons in our classroom this year. If instruction resumes in person, students will have many opportunities to hold and care for our class pets and can possibly take them home over breaks! (With parent permission of course...)

Ms. Bittick spends most of her summers kayaking and hiking.

Ms. B is definitely nerdy and loves Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, etc.

Feel free to let your "nerd flag" fly in our classroom!

While taking undergraduate classes, Ms. Bittick was accepted in the Joint Admission Medical Program and went to a summer internship at the UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth. She got to take a few classes at the Medical School, got to work in the cadaver lab, and spent many hours shadowing Medical Doctors and Physician's Assistants.

Though she ultimately decided that she wanted to help the world in a different way, she spent many hours exploring health professions and would love to chat with any students who are interested in the health science field and may need a little guidance. She is also a part of the Health Science Advisory board at Westwood and is a good avenue to explore for internship or scholarship opportunities.
