About Mrs. Zielinski

Hi! My name is Brittany Zielinski and I love being a member of the 3rd grade team at Deep Wood.

I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Learning and Development (elementary education) for EC-6th grade and I am also ESL certified. The 40 acres holds a special place in my heart. Fair warning: I may try to convince your children to go there and they may come home saying "Hook 'Em!"

I am married to my high-school sweetheart Andrew, and we have two amazing sons and a wonderful daughter. Owen is a fellow Deep Wood Dino in 4th grade and Landon will be 4 in September. Our sweet baby girl Ansley will already be 1 in October! I love to spend my free time with them. Almost every weekend we are traveling between cities to visit with our parents, siblings, and nieces and nephews. We really enjoy our family time and try to make everything an occasion so we can all get together! I also enjoy reading, being outside, watching TV and movies, and eating lots of good food.

I believe that every child should know how valuable they are to our classroom community and to the world. This means they will be loved, challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow. I am really looking forward to working with you and your children this year. Third grade will be an opportunity for learning and growth for all of us and will definitely require working together to ensure success.
