Welcome to 2nd grade!! What an amazing journey we will take this year together. We have so much planned this year and I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

About Mrs. Sanchez:

This year marks my 16th year as a teacher! I have done 15 years in 2nd grade and 1 year in 1st grade all here at Deep Wood. I graduated from Texas State University with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. There I met my husband and we now have three children. Noah is nine

years old and will be in 4th grade here at Deep Wood. I can’t believe it! My daughter Zoey is 6 ½ years old and  is going to be a 1st grader this year. She is so excited!  We also have 2 ½ year old son named Lincoln who is always on the go and keeps us on our toes. He can’t wait to be a dino in one more year. Not only do we stay busy with three little ones, but we also have 1 dog, a dachshund named Barley. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in 1st grade and I am so excited for this year! When I am not teaching we are watching movies, going to someone’s soccer,basketball, or football practice/game or hanging out with friends or family.

*Hobbies:  going to the movies with my family, getting pedicures, playing games

*For the Classroom:  calming fidgets/tools, cardstock,easy board games for indoor recess, anything from our Amazon wishlist

*Favorite Day SAVERS:  Diet Coke/ Diet Dr. Pepper,
