Learning Program

Welcome to OSCAR Stays Home!

OSCAR Stays Home is an online learning program created by students and moderated by mentors. It was created during the summer of 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, and is meant to help our underclassmen better understand engineering, business, design, computer science, and more.

Feel free to join our Google Classroom at code: ebpkn2c !

Contributions and suggestions are welcome, but inappropriate or hateful commentary will not be tolerated.

Directions to join our Google Classroom are expandable (if needed).

These are directions for joining our Google Classroom:

  1. Go to classroom.google.com and select the Google account you want to use

      1. If it's your first time on the site, follow these directions

      2. A pop-up window will appear, just select the google account you want to use and click continue

      3. Select the "student" role

  2. In the upper right corner, there is a plus sign, click it

  3. It will then ask you for a class code, which is ebpkn2c (case sensitive)

  4. Input the code and click "join"

  5. From there, you will be able to navigate through our Google Classroom

The following are tips for navigating Google Classroom:

  • Since you joined the Google Classroom as a student, you may receive email notifications for assignment due dates; unsubscribe from these emails by...

      • Clicking the three menu lines in the upper left corner

      • Click "Settings" and scroll until you see the choice to turn off email notifications

  • In our Google Classroom, there are three sections: "Stream", "Classwork", and "People"

      • Stream: shows announcements and posted messages from both teachers and students, shows assignments in the order they were uploaded

      • Classwork: organized "archive" and complete list of all assignments

      • People: shows the teachers and students in the Google Classroom

  • If you'd like to unenroll from our class...

      • Make sure you are in the Google Classroom home-page by clicking the three menu lines in the upper left corner and selecting "Classes"

      • Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the Roswell Robotics Learning Program icon

      • Select unenroll
