Bojan and Bob had another great day on the lake.

" We started fishing top water from the morning and kept doing it throughout the day. Every brush pile we hit was loaded with Spots. Shoal markers were holding fish also. Evergreens JT95 in full metal proved again that is one of the best lures to use this time of a year. By the lunch time we had more than 20 fish all between 2,5 and 4lb. We also had doubles few times and one of those you can see on this picture 4lb and 3lb2oz."

In preparation for our next club tournament Bojan ramped out from Young Deer park and fished tournament hours 6:30am to 2:30pm.

"I started fishing brush piles sitting in 20-25ft. Spots were very active and hitting Evergreen JT 95 in Full metal color and drop shot Roboworm- Morning dawn. Unfortunately most of those fish were 13"-13,5". Around 10:30am I decided to completely change my approach and moved to shallow docks back in the creeks. There I found less fish but much better quality. I used Spot sticker 3/16oz Shaky head with KVD baby fat finesse worm in green pumpkin around shallow docks and drop shot around deeper ones. Finished up with descent bag and 3lb 12oz Spot as big fish for the day."

Mark Phillips had a good day ramping out from Charlestone boat ramp.

"I fished off shore humps and brush piles 20-25 ft deep most of the day. I was approaching them from far scoping 80-100 ft out. First I would fish on top of them with Storm Chug bug or Gunfish both in chrome and after that continue fishing with 3.3 Keitech on 1/4 oz Spot Choker underspin with Chartreuse head.

Interesting is that I got bigger fish on underspin on top of the brush piles."

Our club members Bojan Blazeski and Maurice Graham ramped out early morning from "6 Mile park".

"It was a tough day but we still managed to catch some nice fish. We started with top water around shoal markers and had some luck, Evergreen JT 95 in Ice fish color and Gunfish in chrome did the work. When sun got higher we moved to docks and found fish on docks sitting close to the deeper water. Most of the fish came on drop shot Roboworm - Morning dawn and 1/2 oz Jig. "
