Music has always been at the forefront of my life and has been a key player in coping with many of my life events. This presence of music in my life for healing and coping made Music Therapy a natural fit for me.
After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of the Incarnate Word, I was asked to create a Music Therapy practice at a physical rehabilitation hospital where I focused on program development, pain management, and neurorehabilitation.
I transitioned to private practice when I began my graduate studies at Berklee College of Music. During this time, I focused on hospice care and grew a profound appreciation for the role of music in the life cycle and in different cultures.
As a new mom, I have focused my most recent work on music for developmental growth and infant-family bonding.
