COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION

As we prepare to embark on the start of the 2020-2021 school year, access to information and communication will be more vital than ever. The Rome City School District has developed a webpage dedicated solely to the reopening of schools and the plan for instruction for the 2020-2021 school year. Details for every element of our reopening plan can be found at www.romecsd.org/reopening. Further, for anyone having questions related to the reopening of schools, we have set aside a special email address to ask questions of district officials (rcsdreopening@romecsd.org). As we have done consistently over the past several years, students, staff, families, and community members will receive communications on a frequent basis regarding their student’s education through multiple modes of communication, including but not limited to: mail, phone, email, text message, website, social media, video, blogs, local print media, and local television news. In order to ensure that our families are partnering with the school district to provide timely communication, ensuring that all families have accurate contact information on file with the school district for their students must be a priority. For this reason, we will consistently canvass our families to verify that the information we have on file is accurate.
