Technology Application TEKS

The Technology Application TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) are a set of standards that outline the specific technology skills and knowledge students should acquire at various grade levels in the state of Texas. These Texas standards encompass a wide range of digital competencies and are designed to prepare students for the use of technology in their academic, personal, and professional lives. 

These Technology Application TEKS are structured across grade levels to ensure the progressive development of technology skills and knowledge from elementary to secondary schools.  At the Roma Independent School District, the standards provide a framework for educators to design technology-rich learning experiences and guide students in becoming digitally literate and proficient in using technology effectively and responsibly.
