Event Entrants
Import Select a file (either .csv or .xls), typically one that has been exported from some other system. Various columns are mandatory, others are optional. At the minimum this must specify:
Bib number
Forename
Surname
Gender
Age or date of birth. Both can be specified, and this allows better checking to be performed. If only age is specified then this must be the age at the race qualifying date.
In addition the following can be specified:
Club (if not specified then considered to be Unattached).
Race, for a multi-race event. In this case a blank means that the runner qualifies in the results for all runners, otherwise it specifies to which race the runner is to be allocated.
Edit As it says. You are presented with a page of the spreadsheet and can edit it as desired. Once edited you have the choice of checking the entries again, but stay on this sheet or return to the Race Control Form
Check Whenever something changes that might affect the validity of the entrants data then the choice to Check is hightlighted and mus be done to proceed. Any problems will be displayed. Examples are a runner who is too young for the event; or who has a name that doesn't match the given gender; or whose age does not correspond to their date of birth.
Save and Export As As previously, if changes have been made the you have the choice to Save the list of entrants Alternatively the list can be Exported in whichever format is desired.
Analysis Generates a report summarising the number of runners entered in each category. This can be just Viewed on the display or Printed.
