Certificated personnel have the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge for both personal development and career and salary advancement. Professional development encompasses all types of facilitated learning opportunities, ranging from college degrees to formal coursework.

Below are links to two documents providing information on professional career development and growth. Additional information can also be found in the Rocklin Teachers Professional Association contract.

REMINDER: Be sure to submit course approval forms to HR prior to starting a course. You cannot do this during the course of a normal teacher workday (in-service, prep time, etc). (15 hours = 1 CEU)
