The pathway progresses from career exploration and foundational knowledge of sports medicine to advanced clinical evaluation and treatment skills, on-field acute and emergency care procedures culminating in high-level application of learned material in the real world of athletic injury management. 

The atmosphere caters to a learn by doing style using hands-on techniques, group projects, real world applications and scenarios, and performance and oral based practicals to evaluate understanding of materials.
