The Star Wars prequel trilogy is the 2nd trilogy of the Skywalker saga of the acclaimed Star Wars franchise, taking place before the original trilogy (that being Episode IV: A New Hope, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and Episode VI: Return of the Jedi). Without giving away too many spoilers, I’ll be giving my honest thoughts on these films through their many aspects.
Story/plot: These films do a great job of setting up not just established characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, etc. but also do a brilliant job at setting up the Star Wars universe overall for newcomers to the franchise. I will give the story a 10/10.
The characters: The characters are so full of life and personality. They are often very fun to watch. I will give the characters a 10/10
The Score: The musical scores of these films are phenomenal. John Williams never disappoints. The entirety of not just the prequels but the overall nine film Skywalker Saga is proof of John William’s musical talent as he composed for all of them.
Overall thoughts: In conclusion, the Prequel Trilogy is a brilliant work of cinema. It sets up everything perfectly for the Star Wars universe. This film trilogy truly deserves and gets my seal of approval. They are not only great prequels to the Star Wars original trilogy, but they are just as great to watch by themselves. Overall, I will give the Prequel Trilogy a 10/10.
