From Coach Stephen Murphy:
-The proudest moment this year was seeing the seniors take a positive leadership role and win the close games we couldn’t win the year before. We had one of the top 5 hardest schedules in Division 4 this season and their leadership was huge for our team.
-The biggest team goal this season was to concentrate on one game at a time and to take care of business. We had a habit of looking ahead but we did a much better job of playing in the moment, from shift to shift which helped us tremendously this season.
-Goal for next year is to develop players and, hopefully, to surprise some people. While we hope to continue the culture change that the seniors and coaches have developed, we will have an extremely young team next season that will provide a lot of opportunities for playing time and player development. I think people will underestimate us next season and hopefully, we prove some people wrong.
