FOXBOROUGH- On June 29, Miss Kara Penney married her middle school sweetheart Andrew Frazer.
The couple has been together since they were in eighth grade. Their love story started with Penney texting him in eighth grade.
“They grew up together so he’s always felt like a son so it's nice,” said Mrs. Penney the mother of the bride.
They celebrated their wedding with family, friends, and colleagues.
“When she walked down the aisle she looked so beautiful so that was definitely a favorite. Also, they wrote their vows that were so special it feels like everyone got to know them better because I think everybody there knew them from different points of their life and it really summed it up for everybody there that knew them so that was really special,” said Ms. Desiree Cunha, Pathways teacher and a friend of Mrs. Frazer.
The place the wedding was at the Lakeview Pavilion in Foxborough Massachusetts. After their wedding, they traveled to Italy for their honeymoon. They traveled through Italy for two weeks and visited Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Venice, Positano, Capri, and Sorrento.
They love hanging out with their friends, traveling, and spending time together. The couple were engaged for two years before they got married and have been together for 13 years.
The proposal was a surprise. The day he proposed to her they went out to breakfast in South Boston where they lived at the time. Afterwards, they took a boat to her family beach house in Hull and he proposed to her there.
Mrs. Frazer’s favorite moments from the wedding were dancing and their vows because they wrote the vows themselves.
“The proposal was a surprise Andrew my husband and I went out to breakfast in South Boston where we lived and then we took the boat from Boston to Hull I have a family beach house down in Hull he proposed at the Hull Gut next to Hull high school and then we walked back to my family cottage and all our friends and family were there to celebrate,” said Mrs. Frazer.
