ROCKLAND- The Rockland High School cheerleading team has just earned their fourteenth title as division four state champions.
This team has seen remarkable feats this season, for example when they earned the second-highest score in the entire state at their regional competition.
Cheer has been undefeated state champions since their 2018-2019 fall season. Even as they faced COVID during their 2020-2021 season, they still managed to win another title.
Captain Skylar Wells, signing off as a four-time state champion, comments on her final performance. “It’s crazy to think that my time on the team is over—these past four years flew by. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”
The team put out a nearly perfect performance, wowing the spectators and making their fans proud.
With over ten teams in their division, the varsity cheerleaders came out on top again, adding another trophy and champion ring to their ever-growing collection.
