ROCKLAND- On November 5, Athletic Director and Boys Soccer Coach Mr. Dan Kimball and his wife Jess welcomed their new baby girl, Skylar Jade.
Not only was she born the day the boy's soccer played Bellingham, but it ended up becoming their wild delivery story.
Mr. Kimball said his wife, "woke me up at 12:48 and her water broke in the car and she practically delivered in the wheelchair going into the hospital.”
There have been challenges with balancing his home life and work life and not being able to be around as much as he wants to be but is excited to watch all of his kids grow up.
“Getting to watch all of my kids have fun competing in sports and make new friends as well as being able to grow up in this town, too,” he added.
A challenge he has between school time and work time is finding a balance between staying up to date at work and being supportive at home.
Mr. Kimball’s two other kids, 2-year-old Harper and 3-year-old Mason have been doing well with the new baby, but Mason has become obsessed with Skylar.
“Patience is a virtue. Kids are still figuring everything out so when I’m around I need to be present and not try to multitask too much,” he added.
